Friendship & Care group

The purpose of our Friendship & Care Group is to relieve loneliness and, in some cases, isolation which so often accompanies advancing years. We see the Association as being in debt to the generation which, at great personal cost, brought their families to this country. Time spent with the older members of our community brings its own rewards such as stories of ‘the old country’ and a long-gone way of life.

Those prepared to join our Friendship & Care Group are very welcome as this will mean more assistance to a wider and deserving section of our society.

The only qualification required to serve in this group or in any other capacity in our Management Group or Sub Committees, is that you have a strong conviction and mindset to serve others.
